o Wait or Weight? The question! One of the  delegates at a recent presentation questioned that a weighting system could  be applied to CHAS that would reduce the subjectivity element of the assessment. This was discussed by the group and whilst there was general agreement that it might work, no-one felt they are able, at the moment, to take this project on.

Of course, if you feel that it is something that you might wish to undertake, please give me a ring! The group agreed that the issue should be pursued at future meetings.

roup Membership and Constitution.
It was agreed at the last SSIG meeting that the group should reflect the national membership of the scheme. To that end we now move towards regional representation with four regions now covered. However, beyond the SSIG terms of reference, there is  no other guidance to which the Group work. It was therefore suggested that some form of constitution should be written and promulgated. The chair has agreed to take on this task, though it may take some time to complete. If you have any comments or thoughts about the role of the SSIG, please let me have them>
