BUYER:
Formally known as ‘Client Members’. Any organisation or business buying goods and services from a supplier.
SUPPLIER:
Formally known as ‘Contractors’. Any organisation or business who provides goods or services for or to a buyer
SME:
Small to Medium sized Enterprise: up to 250 employees.
CDM-C:
Construction and Design Management Co-ordinator.
CDM:
Construction (Design and Management).
HVCA:
Heating Ventilation Contractors Association.
SPEC:
Specialist Concrete Contractors Association.
ISO:
International Organisation for Standardisation.
Pre-qualification:
Before being qualified to tender for work.
